    Born Jan. 21, 1920 in Peterborough. Died April 25, 2004 in Peterborough. Parents were Felix and Matilda (Brioux) Courneya. Served in the navy from 1942 to 1946 and 1952 to 1968. Buried in St. Peter's Cemetery, Peterborough.
